Description
Achieving desired outcomes for your learner first begins with embedding meaningful programs in person-centered plans, including learner specific information, skill acquisition, behavior reduction and caregiver training! By completing this training, you will be able to: Define Person-Centered Planning and the importance of prioritizing socially significant behavior-change goals. Select behavior-change interventions based on learner and caregiver preferences considering medical needs, risks, benefits, and likelihood of outcomes maintaining in natural conditions. Write intervention goals in observable and measurable terms and operationally define behavior. Identify strategies to train staff in competently implementing intervention procedures. And assess learner progress by making data-based decisions about the effectiveness of the intervention.
